Enlightening, encouraging, empowering, and inspiring you along your journey to financial freedom through purposeful living.

By now you probably have realized that most of what you learned over the years regarding finances was not true.  Go to school, get good grades, go to college, get a good job.  It frustrates me every time I hear someone say this.  "Getting a good job" leaves your future in the hands of your employer.  Now, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with a job, however I am saying this is not the #1 way to build your wealth.

With a job your employer tells you how much you are worth to them.  They control when you get pay raises, if at all.  Not only does your employer maintain a certain level of control over your earning abilities, the government taxes wages at a higher rate than any other source of income.  Even if you do work a job, you should be using that money to invest in other income producing assets.

Several years from now, what does your life have to look like in order for you to feel a sense of well being, that you're making progress, and that you have freedom to live life the way you want?

Your financial goals should align with your life goals.  Think about your current goals.  Are you managing (or using) your money in a way that is improving your life?  How much money do you need to "make it happen"?  Do you currently earn enough income or do you need additional funds?  Are you conscious of your spending? Are you allocating your money to the right things or spending frivolously?  Do you know how long it will take you to reach each goal?  Are you using all of the tools and resources available to you?

  • Take control of your own financial future. Regain or maintain control of your time, talents and treasure.
  • Learn the rules of the wealthy and apply them to your own life.
  • Use the tax code to your advantage and pay Uncle Sam the least amount legally possible.

Areas of Practice

ARE YOU IN CONTROL OF YOUR MONEY OR DOES YOUR MONEY CONTROL YOU?  Cash flow is the money you have coming in and going out. Every dollar you earn should have a job or purpose.  Develop a documented plan that allows you to allocate your money based on your personal financial goals.

IS YOUR MONEY WORKING FOR YOU OR ARE YOU WORKING FOR YOUR MONEY?  Having multiple streams of income increases your chances of building wealth.  How many streams of income do you have?  Are you using your strengths and skills to bring in additional income?

SAVING OR INVESTING EVEN A SMALL AMOUNT IS BETTER THAN DOING NOTHING AT ALL.  There are several ways you can save and invest your financial resources. Whether you are looking for ways to save or just want to know a great place to save or invest your money, you've come to the right place.

CHECK OUT OUR LIST OF TOOLS THAT CAN ASSIST YOU IN REACHING YOUR FINANCIAL GOALS.  Technology makes planning easier than ever, but there is nothing wrong with taking out the good old paper and pencil either. Choose the financial tools that will work best for you.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOUR TAX PREPARER SAVED YOU MONEY? Don't pay more taxes than you are legally obligated to pay.  Use the tax code to your advantage.  We will review your last years tax return to determine if you are taking advantage of all deductions/credits availalbe to you.

I cannot believe that the purpose of life is to be happy. I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be compassionate. It is, above all, to matter, to count, to stand for something, to have made some difference that you lived at all.
